We provide formal, HMRC-compliant probate valuations for executors, administrators and solicitors throughout London and the Home Counties. From our office in Mayfair, our specialists value jewellery, silver, watches, fine art and antiques at their open market value as at the date of death — clearly documented, promptly delivered, and handled with the discretion these matters require.
We regularly attend properties across central and Greater London — including Mayfair, Westminster, Kensington, Chelsea, St John's Wood, Richmond and Wimbledon — as well as the surrounding Home Counties. Home and property visits are a standard part of the service, and there is no obligation to sell any item with us afterwards. Our written, HMRC-compliant probate valuations are priced by property size, from £295+VAT, and the fee is always confirmed in writing before any work begins.
1. Valuation
One of our valuers will visit the property and produce a detailed HMRC-compliant probate valuation report. All items of value are recorded at a fair open market value.
2. Sale at Auction
We will auction all saleable items that are not being kept or bequeathed; including art, antiques and jewellery. Our goal is to extract and maximise as much value as possible for the estate.
3. Property Clearance
Our house clearance team will clear the whole property, donating items to charity and recycling where possible, leaving the house completely empty, tidy and ready for sale.
